Yoga for Every Body

Yoga for Every Body is a “come-as-you-are” class for anyone who’s feeling shy about yoga. This class requires zero flexibility or experience and is a great fit for students who are new or returning to yoga. Props are used to tailor each pose to your body today and create space for aches and pains to melt away. Learn how to lovingly respond to your body’s cues.

Yoga Foundations special event

Yoga Foundations is a 6-week series that introduces a selection of yoga poses in depth. Postures are then brought together to explore the movements combined in a flow. The series will also incorporate diving more into yoga philosophy with introduction to and reflection on the yamas and niyamas, yoga's ethical principles for how we relate to ourselves and the world. This class is appropriate for all levels, including beginners or those interested in deepening their yoga practice. This class will not only leave you with a better understanding of foundational yoga asana (postures), but will also encourage you to integrate the practice of yoga off the mat and in everyday life.This class is capped at 12 participants, so please register early to secure your spot. Yoga Foundations is a series; to register, participants must purchase the Yoga Foundations series on the "Series" page of our site.

​Tina is a 200 hour RYT through Kanyakumari Ayurveda and Yoga Wellness Center, having completed her training in 2012. Yoga has been a life-changing tool for her as she overcame breast cancer and knee surgeries. She finds yoga to be a holistic, all-encompassing approach to well-being. Tina regularly teaches classes geared toward the 50+ population. She enjoys sharing a gentle practice appropriate for all levels and forms a special bond with her students through her compassionate, fun approach.

Adaptive Chair Yoga

In Adaptive Chair Yoga participants use a chair as a prop to support the practice. Seated and standing postures are incorporated. No matter your experience level or age, a chair can be a useful tool to not only make various movements and poses more accessible, but also enhance your experience throughout the practice. With a mix of gentle vinyasa and hatha yoga, this practice will help you to feel your body, increase your flexibility and relieve stress. Yoga also awakens your soul! This class will feature other stress-reducing elements from the devotional practice of yoga called "Bhakti" to uplift you through mantra, music, and more!
About Molly Sommerhalder
My mission is to connect people to their souls and sacred space through yoga including asana, bhakti, meditation, music, mantra and breath. Also, to teach women to connect and heal their bodies, especially the pelvic floor. Along with provide tools to balance hormones through meditation, relaxation, essential oils and more. I have been practicing for over 15 years and completed my 200-hour training in 2008. In 2009, I was an apprentice with Turbodog Yoga in Chicago, IL and I finished my Level 1 Teacher Training in Aerial Yoga from Inner Sun Yoga Studio in Oshkosh in 2015. In Fall 2015, I attended Sean Johnson and the Wild Lotus Band's 7 day Bhakti Immersion where I learned mantras and harmonium and I have also had lessons with Girish including a weekend mantra camp series in 2016. I currently teach Yoga for Women's Health workshops which I gained knowledge in women’s health through my own therapeutic journey in healing my pelvic floor with a certified physical educator. These workshops take Eastern and Western techniques to help women with menopause, pelvic floor issues and hormonal imbalance. My traditional classes/workshops combine the asana practice, mantra and other bhakti yoga traditions for a full devotional practice. My goal is to make yoga/bhakti accessible to everyone and connect to the Mind, Body and Spirit for a balanced life, find inner courage and live sacredly.

Restorative yoga uses blankets, bolsters, straps, and blocks to totally support the body throughout the practice. It is a deeply relaxing practice that helps release tension in the muscles, quiet the mind and encourages restoration on all levels. You will explore, open, and balance your body through a series of restorative yoga poses. Essential oils are used to enhance the experience. This class is for all levels.

Slow Flow
with Lindsay DiLeo*

Get in the flow with this slower-paced Vinyasa-inspired class. Vinyasa style focuses on linking the movement with the breath. The practice helps build endurance, stamina, strength, and flexibility, while calming the mind and centering through the breath.This class moves at a slower pace than typical Vinyasa classes and will also incorporate yoga props. The class is good for those new to the Vinyasa style.
