Community Yoga
with Shaoli Katana, RYT-200*
1 hour minutes
Prefer a slower, more nourishing yoga class focused on recovery and renewal? Then this class is for you. Your co-workers can thank us later. Class is $10 because “I can’t afford yoga” is a terrible reason not to practice and not be part of your community. Beginners are welcome to this all-levels class.
About Shaoli Katana, RYT-200*
Shaoli is a native of southern Virginia and has lived in the DC-Maryland area since 2004. She received her RYT training at Blue Heron Wellness in Silver Spring. She enjoys sharing yoga with her community, particularly special populations who do not have regular access to yoga, such as women and children affected by trauma. Shaoli entered the world of yoga over ten years ago through her experiences studying Indian dance and Ayurvedic wellness philosophies. She incorporates many asanas and mudras from dance into her classes, and emphasizes breathwork, creative dynamic flows, effort and ease in practice, and the positive effects of yoga on and off the mat. Shaoli also works full-time as a family law attorney in Maryland.

About Carla Morgan, RYT-200
Carla was drawn to yoga in college for its therapeutic and healing properties. Carla wants to continue to share her passion for yoga by motivating others to challenge themselves and to release any self- doubt they may have.
