WELCOME…The wait is finally over!!

 We are excited to announce the Spa will open Stage 3 on July 31st. We will continue to offer RMT massage, manicure, pedicure and hair removal services and as of July 31st we will begin to offer facials and facial hair removal. Our opening will be done thoughtfully and gradually. As always, the Spa at The Old Mill continues taking all reasonable precautions to ensure your health, safety and well-being. We have added to all current Health & Safety Legislation, our own policies and procedures in order to remain in compliance with the Government’s new guidelines.

These are some of the measures being implemented in our spa, please take a minute to review them:

  • Clients entering the spa for products or a gift card are required to wear a mask and complete a COVID-19 screening. 
  • All clients are to wear a clean disposable or reusable mask that can be worn into the spa and throughout their treatment in accordance with Toronto Health
  • All clients will be COVID-19 pre-screened at time of booking and upon arrival of appointment in accordance with Toronto Health and Health Canada’s regulations 
  • All clients will be asked to use hand sanitizer before entering the spa
  • All clients are asked to come 5 minutes to their appointment 
  • For now, the Public Health and Safety guidelines require us to close our saunas, salt chamber and change facilities. Clients will change in their treatment room.
  • Our refreshment station has also been removed, however, bottle water will be offered
  • We will provide additional quiet zones (waiting areas) to help accommodate physical distancing throughout the spa (Clients will not be allowed to use the waiting area to dry nails)
  • Staff will be greeting our clients with a friendly smile and hello rather than a handshake 
  • We have provided additional quiet zones (waiting areas) and encourage clients change in their treatment rooms to accommodate physical distancing   throughout the spa
  • Hand washing and hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the spa
  • Staff will be supplied with regulated PPE
  • Our treatment rooms will continue to be disinfected between every service with PreEmpt. 
  • We are continuing to disinfect high touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handles, railings, light switches, lockers throughout each day
  • Duvets and heating pads have been removed from our tables
  • We encourage on-line shopping with delivery or same day curb side pick up
  • Non-contact payment and checkout will be available
  • All employees will be screened daily and we have a zero-symptom allowed policy

We are back to business to what is considered the new norm. Although some things will change in the spa, our dedication to providing the highest standard of service and hygiene will never change. SPA ARRIVAL Please arrive a maximum of 15 minutes prior to your service.  You will need to complete a COVID-19 screening before entering the spa.

PROMPTNESS If you are running late, please give us a call. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. (full-service fee will apply).

CELL PHONES Remember you’re in a No Cell Zone. Please make sure your cell phone is turned off and placed safely inside your locker. Cell phones can be very distracting even on vibrate and since all phones now have cameras, it can raise privacy concerns among others visiting the spa.

CANCELLATION POLICY/NO SHOWS Last minute cancellation penalties will be waived with a valid reason (except for no-show a full-service fee applies)

CHILDREN We love kids, but the Spa is a place where Moms and Dads come to rest and recharge their batteries. So please, make baby-sitting arrangements in advance and come enjoy the Spa without your little ones. Must be 18 years and older.

SPA DINING Under the current situation, dining has been temporarily suspended.

HEALTH AND COMFORT LEVEL Please notify us before booking treatments if you are pregnant, have allergies, high blood pressure, and any other physical ailments or need assistance. This will prepare our staff in advance so we may provide the best possible treatment for you. When receiving your treatment, the technician will address your needs based on your personal assessment.

INDOOR VOICE Speaking at low levels will ensure everyone remains in a relaxed state and help you get there too. Many visit the spa to reflect or meditate and may wish to shy away from conversation. Groups are encouraged to arrange a private space should you wish to “Get the Party Started” at The SPA.

WHAT TO WEAR For now, the Public Health and Safety guidelines require us to close our change facilities. Clients will change in their treatment room. Please wear something comfortable.

GRATUITY In appreciation of outstanding service, gratuities may be given at your discretion.

PARKING Parking is located across from the Hotel/Spa entrance. It is a "Pay and Display" lot. The cost is $2.00 per hour/ Maximum daily rate $12.00 (6am-6am)

PERSONAL ARTICLES Every client is provided a personal locker, however, the SPA is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
