This 45 minute class focuses on alignment and body awareness. For those long hours sitting at a computer, students work on back bends and forward folds. Working on the core to supply support for the rest of the body. This shortened class is energizing and full of needed stretching.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a style of yoga that emphasizes long holds and complete surrender in a pose, to work on the thick connective tissues that need more time to stretch than muscles, and the joints. The focus is mostly on hips, low back, and sometimes shoulders. The theory is that meridians (energy channels) run through these areas, and by practicing this style we’re opening them so we can let energy flow. Recommended for people who already have an existing practice and know how to breathe deeply.
