Beginner Series Yoga for Back Pain

This Beginner Series can ease you into a new yoga practice or help refine the practice you already have. This month, we will focus on yoga poses that can help your back find relief from pain, injury and everyday stress. We will slow down the practice to learn the proper alignment of each pose, use breathing practices to activate more benefits and put these poses in a flow you can practice at home every day. In this class, you will learn how to: • Prevent injury in group classes • Learn how to focus on pose alignment • Ease pain in upper, mid and lower back • Create a safe home practice Arrive early! Doors lock at 7pm.
About the teacher
Pam is a two hundred hour certified yoga teacher, registered with Yoga Alliance. Her certification was completed with Yoga Yoga in San Antonio where their emphasis on safe and individualized alignment guides her experience as a teacher. She believes yoga to be a bridge to the things that we need, want and deserve in life. Her beginner series invites us to check in with our physical and energetic place in the day and to interpret directions we are ready to tread.
