About Christine Tran
Christine Tran is a Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), Reiki Master, and Yoga Teacher Trainer (RYT 500) from California. She specializes in gentle and adaptive yoga, energy healing, and mindfulness practices to support self-care and to transform stress into balanced health. Christine makes holistic living accessible for people living in this fast-pace society and guides individuals to integrate wellness into everyday life. She believes that every moment of this lifetime is an opportunity to reconnect with our natural and peaceful Self. Her upbringing as a second generation Chinese American, love for traveling and connecting with different cultures around the world, and international education work inspired and led her to the path of healing and wellness. Christine is grateful for the experiences and practices that have opened space for her to see the light within and that we all have the opportunity to pause and be with the same inner peace and joy. She offers private yoga therapy sessions working with individuals to create a personal yoga lifestyle plan and realistic goals towards a vital and active life. Each session provides a support structure to empower the individual to maintain and enhance their health. Practices can include functional and mindfulness movement, breathing, meditation, energy healing, and lifestyle coaching to transform or upgrade habits to support the person’s overall well-being during various cycles of life. Christine is also trained in Reiki Jin Kei Do, which transformed her way of living into self-care and taught her to channel the life force energy that brings healing to the whole being. She offers private Reiki sessions using this ancient energy healing to bring balance to the individual’s physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. She also teaches group yoga classes, where students will find a focus on therapeutics, whether they are stretching, strengthening, or relaxing. In particular, her gentle and restorative yoga classes offer a release from the daily stresses of city life, and a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. In all settings, she offers an inviting, nurturing, and calming space for students to rediscover the natural healing powers of the body and the elements in nature, while deepening mind, body, and spirit connection. Christine is grateful for the teachings of Sri Dharma Mittra and her Dharma Yoga teachers in Washington, D.C. as well as her training in Comprehensive Yoga Therapy (Yoga Life Institute), Therapeutic Yoga (Cheri Clampett), and Reiki Jin Kei Do.

Yoga for Self-Inquiry: Your Sacred Mission and Vision special event
with Michael Joel Hall New!
2 hours minutes
Yoga practice, when done with intention, provides a way to dig deep into the internal workings of the self. When creating space for looking within, letting go of a need to fake anything, we get a chance for real, authentic inquiry. Why is this important? Because it can help us clarify our goals and sharpen our Vision. A person who lacks vision reacts to the world and whatever appears to be most pressing unconsciously. Doing so may even cause us to live someone else’s priorities. Learn where to place and focus your attention in order to develop authentic vision, live your own priorities, and cultivate your best self. [BK1] Discover what meaningful and purposeful self inquiry looks like and how it works. Yoga is both an esoteric and science-supported practice that teaches us how, in the future, we will always be more disappointed by things we didn’t do than by the things we did. Come learn how to do more—through honing in on yoga and meditation practices accessible to all, so that you can discover your ability to access your inherent, embodied wisdom.

About Paul Robison
Paul believes that when we bring greater awareness to the small choices we make every day, our health begins to flourish. From having cancer in his adolescence to an emergency sigmoidectomy during a stressful corporate career, Paul has overcome many personal health crises. His different experiences with illness and injury slowly reshaped his perception of health and eventually aligned him with a holistic philosophy of living, motivating him to shift his career and study medicine. The positive experiences he had with acupuncture during his healing led him to study Chinese Medicine at Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, CA, where he obtained his Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and completed a 2,200-hour intensive clinical apprenticeship with an emphasis in tui na, craniosacral, and martial arts. While a student, he practiced qigong, discovered meditation, found a healing community, and began striving to cultivate peace and wellness in all facets of his life.
