About Mary Angel Blount
Mary Angel Blount, MFA, RYT, comes to yoga from a roundabout route. Before she started training to be a yoga instructor, she taught college English for 23 years. “When I discovered yoga in the 1990s, I was teaching creative writing and composition. I was amazed at yoga’s effect on creativity,” she says. “Yoga lowered my self-criticism, so I could feel freer to create.” She continues: “Yoga is also phenomenal for stress. It speeds up the energy in my body and slows down the energy in my mind. It is the perfect reset! More than that, it’s bliss! My calling is to help others discover how profoundly and how positively yoga can affect us all.” In addition to teaching a variety of hatha/vinyasa yoga classes at Bliss Bliss Bliss such as Gentle Yoga and Bliss Flow, Mary Angel also teaches Chakra Yoga, a 75-minute class that includes chakra assessment & balancing, journaling, chanting, meditation, and asana. “The two forces running through our bodies—the liberation current and the manifestation current—are always fluctuating and thus, in constant need of balancing. Chakra Yoga helps us to balance our energy and dissolve our blocks to love and creative bliss.”

Hot Vinyasa With Melita
with Melita Mollohan
1 hour minutes
The word “vinyasa” can be translated as “arranging something in a special way,” In a vinyasa yoga class, poses are arranged in a special way.The intention of the poses is to create an intentional space. In this class strength, balance, and breath are woven together to create a flow. The room is intentionally heated because of the many benefits heat offers to your body. Heat protects your muscles as they move through their full range of motion. Endorphins are released helping to reverse the negative effects of stress.
About Melita Mollohan
Yoga Therapist, E-RYT500, Akashic Record Reader Specialties: Akashic Record Reading, Breathwork, Meditation, Yoga Therapy, Hot Vinyasa, Yin Yoga You are the electricity and Melita is the light switch! Melita creates a sacred space for healing that combines deep understanding and knowledge, ownership of your own body, and humor. Melita believes that your growth and potential are only diminished by your own limiting beliefs. We are all powerful beyond measure. Melita started teaching Yoga in 2009 and started her Massage Therapy practice in 2010. She’s since then learned the subtle yet powerful healing of Bowen Therapy to help the body heal more quickly and more permanently. Even more importantly, she’s learned how much the energetic and emotional body affects the physical and that if you want to make any changes in your life you need to address the energetics first and foremost. She has since then added Akashic Record Readings to her practice and these have become one of her favorite ways to work with clients. She’s constantly amazed at how physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual issues can be resolved with time in the records. Another favorite way of working with groups is through the powerful healing of the breath. Your breath can move stuck emotional & physical energy. Breathwork helps with depression and anxiety, deepens your intuition, and increases creativity. Breathwork is an undercover manifestation tool that can clear the channel to align with your dreams. And most of all, it opens your heart to greater self-love. Melita offers Breathwork Circles every other month and they are an extremely powerful way to help heal your body, mind, and spirit. Melita still enjoys a strong physical and challenging yoga asana practice and continues to teach two classes in this format, Thursday at 5:30pm and Saturday 9am. In fact, she was the very first person in Morgantown to offer Hot Yoga. Yet her favorite way to work with private clients and small groups is with Yoga Therapy. Yoga Therapy simply put is self-care! Melita has found that no matter what clients are dealing with that Yoga can assist on their path. Yoga meets you exactly where you are. Yoga Therapy is for anyone dealing with any physical issue, ailment, disease, stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, respiratory and cardiovascular disorders, neurological disorders, digestive, hormonal, or immune system issues. Basically, if you are suffering any issue, Yoga Therapy is a great place for you to add into your self-care routine to bring your body and mind back to wholeness. It is finding stillness in the chaos that life can be. My yoga journey began when I was working in mental health and an instructor came to teach. The beginning of my journey was focused on the physical body and has grown to improve many other aspects of my life. Being on my mat and with my breath gives me a “home” feeling.
