Between a jam-packed schedule, extra family time and budgeting for gifts, overwhelm lurks around every corner. What if you could celebrate the holidays with more grace and ease? Yoga offers a beautiful framework to check in with yourself and keep calm this year! This 4-class series with Lindsay provides a community of support and yoga to kick each week off with poise. Each class begins with a 30-minute lesson and goal setting, followed by a 1-hour yoga class. Bring a notebook and pen if you’d like to take notes. Please note: In the spirit of simplicity, there’s no class Thanksgiving week. $48 for all 4 classes (purchase the Peaceful Holidays Series); $15 drop-in rate; or, use your current class package. Class is from 6-7:30 p.m. on the following Tuesdays: 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, 12/10 (no class Thanksgiving week).
About the teacher
Lindsay DiLeo, RYT-200, offers private and group classes. She studied at the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago and regularly participates in continuing education to serve the evolving needs of her students. Lindsay has practiced yoga for almost 15 years. She believes its ancient wisdom and healing benefits can be accessed by all to live a more deliberate and bountiful life. As a hatha yoga instructor, Lindsay focuses on alignment over range of motion. In other words, flexibility is not required! Sequences are built to move stagnant energy, eliminate aches and pains and move in the direction of balance.

About the teacher
My mission is to connect people to their souls and sacred space through yoga including asana, bhakti, meditation, music, mantra and breath. Also, to teach women to connect and heal their bodies, especially the pelvic floor. Along with provide tools to balance hormones through meditation, relaxation, essential oils and more. I have been practicing for over 15 years and completed my 200-hour training in 2008. In 2009, I was an apprentice with Turbodog Yoga in Chicago, IL and I finished my Level 1 Teacher Training in Aerial Yoga from Inner Sun Yoga Studio in Oshkosh in 2015. In Fall 2015, I attended Sean Johnson and the Wild Lotus Band's 7 day Bhakti Immersion where I learned mantras and harmonium and I have also had lessons with Girish including a weekend mantra camp series in 2016. I currently teach Yoga for Women's Health workshops which I gained knowledge in women’s health through my own therapeutic journey in healing my pelvic floor with a certified physical educator. These workshops take Eastern and Western techniques to help women with menopause, pelvic floor issues and hormonal imbalance. My traditional classes/workshops combine the asana practice, mantra and other bhakti yoga traditions for a full devotional practice. My goal is to make yoga/bhakti accessible to everyone and connect to the Mind, Body and Spirit for a balanced life, find inner courage and live sacredly.
