About Tiffany Maqubela
Tiffany Maqubela is a RYT-200 vinyasa yoga instructor registered with Yoga Alliance, who received her certification at the Buddha B Yoga Center in Washington, DC. In her classes, she intends to help students embrace themselves within their individual practice and to find a moment of peace on the mat that can be carried into their daily lives. Tiffany has received her 85-hour certification in prenatal yoga, as well as training in restorative yoga. Residing in Silver Spring, MD, she is a stay-at-home mom who enjoys reading, manicures and pedicures, and sharing oven-made cookies and soy milk with her husband over their favorite shows.

Revitalize and Relax Yoga
with Shaoli Sarkar
1 hour 15 minutes minutes
Class will begin with breathwork (pranayama), then engage in a dynamic, dance-like Vinyasa flow with options for advanced practitioners. We will explore inversions, arm balances, and backbends in a safe, supported, and fun way for all levels. Class will wind down with plenty of time for restorative postures. Class includes instructions and demonstrations of daily rituals to incorporate yoga and Ayurvedic wellness into your daily life. You will feel relaxed, radiant, and ready to face the week.
About Shaoli Sarkar
Shaoli is a native of southern Virginia and has lived in the DC-Maryland area since 2004. She received her RYT training at Blue Heron Wellness in Silver Spring. She enjoys sharing yoga with her community, particularly special populations who do not have regular access to yoga, such as women and children affected by trauma. Shaoli entered the world of yoga over ten years ago through her experiences studying Indian dance and Ayurvedic wellness philosophies. She incorporates many asanas and mudras from dance into her classes, and emphasizes breathwork, creative dynamic flows, effort and ease in practice, and the positive effects of yoga on and off the mat. Shaoli also works full-time as a family law attorney in Maryland.

Yin Yoga
with Rick Kowalewski
1 hour 15 minutes minutes
Yin Yoga targets the deeper connective tissues in your body to further open space, nourish the joints, and find deeper release through long, passive stretches. This is also a deeply calming practice.
About Rick Kowalewski
Rick (E-RYT-200) is a teacher, artist, and life practitioner. His yoga classes are about exploration and discovery, with lots of supportive assists. They weave in elements of Qigong, Thai Yoga, the physiology of stretching and breathing, music, art, and whatever else comes to mind at the time. Through yoga, he aims to help people fine-tune their awareness and find balance, stability, greater range of motion, and a deep sense of calm. He’s been teaching yoga since 2010.
