About Tiffany Maqubela
Tiffany Maqubela is a RYT-200 vinyasa yoga instructor registered with Yoga Alliance, who received her certification at the Buddha B Yoga Center in Washington, DC. She discovered yoga through a free class in Southeast and was immediately amazed by the physical and spiritual benefits of the practice. As a yoga teacher, Tiffany hopes to contribute to the diversity of instructors and encourage all people, regardless of size, age, ability, or color, to feel a part of the world of yoga. In her classes, she intends to help students embrace themselves within their individual practice and to find a moment of peace on the mat that can be carried into their daily lives. Tiffany has received her 85-hour certification in prenatal yoga, as well as training in restorative yoga. Residing in Silver Spring, MD, she is a stay-at-home mom who enjoys reading, manicures and pedicures, and sharing oven-made cookies and soy milk with her husband over their favorite shows.

About Rick Kowalewski
Rick (E-RYT-200) is a teacher, artist, and life practitioner. His yoga classes are about exploration and discovery, with lots of supportive assists. They weave in elements of Qigong, Thai Yoga, the physiology of stretching and breathing, music, art, and whatever else comes to mind at the time. Through yoga, he aims to help people fine-tune their awareness and find balance, stability, greater range of motion, and a deep sense of calm. He’s been teaching yoga since 2010.
