Are you looking for a way to relieve stress or reduce anxiety?Look no further than the "Unwind" Mandala Workshop, where you will engage with an opening meditation for relaxation with guided imagery, which will then be followed by a time of art making with mandalas.Mandala is the Sanskrit word for "sacred circle," and they have been found to help increase focus and concentration as well as reduce anxiety when making them.No art making experience is necessary; the final artwork is not as important as the art making process creating it.There will be a brief discussion at the end of the workshop. Facilitated by art therapist Lacy Mucklow, the workshop will focus on stress reduction and getting more in touch with your inner self. A small materials fee will be charged at the door to cover the art media that will be available.Come and learn to unwind! $25 materials fee payable to Lacy due at the door
