As a group, we will explore bills of interest, and walk through how to sort bills by topic or committee, understand where the bill is in process, how to read a bill, and how to comment on bills of interest. This group is intended to be educational and informative, providing tools for individuals to make their voices heard at the legislative level. While the orientation of the group is intended to be on the progressive political side, it is not intended to be a polarizing or divisive meeting. Different viewpoints will be honored and respected, although hostility or aggression will not. Please come with your tact and respect in hand! In this natural state of being the body opens up the meridians or energy channels within the body clearing away old emotions, toxins or build up that are currently blocking the flow of chi or prana (the bodies vital life force). In this practice we tend to have long holds in a pose (sometimes up to 5 minutes) this gives time for the body to relax the muscle tissue providing the opportunity to bring the stretch into the connective tissue. We will end the practice with a 15 min guided, deep relaxation savasana.
