About Liza Dioso
Liza Dioso received her 200 hour hot yoga certification in January 2012 at Dana Hot Yoga in Bala Cynwyd, PA under the tutelage of Lisa Mitchell and Rachel Hoppenstein. Liza’s voyage to the yoga mat quite simply began as a New Year’s resolution in 2009. Little did she know how that one challenge would drastically change her life and enhance her love of music, motherhood and creativity. While continuing her yogic journey, Liza discovered Reiki. She is Reiki Levels I, II & Advanced Level III certified under the Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki lineage. It is this technique of stress reduction, and promotion of relaxation that continues to deepen her appreciation for holistic well being. In March 2012, Liza completed teacher training for children’s yoga with Childlight Yoga. In April 2012 Liza also completed teacher training for restorative yoga with Bhakti Judith Curiel and in 2013 completed certification in Yin yoga with Corina Benner. Liza is passionate about reaching and captivating anyone who has ever thought about giving yoga a try. It is her hope that she is able to encourage everyone in seeing the world with different eyes through her lightheartedness, humor and ever growing love for her yoga practice on and off the mat. Liza’s devotion for yoga, meditation, wellness and music are apparent in her sensitive and thoughtful classes.

This accessible modification of traditional yoga in a chair is appropriate for people of all ages. If you can breathe, you can practice yoga. Learn how to use your breath to find deep relaxation while building strength, flexibility and equanimity to improve your quality of life. No experience necessary, all are welcome. Sati Rose has been teaching Yoga for almost fifteen years. She has been seeing clients in the Philadelphia and surrounding areas offering group class, private teaching, Thai Massage, and Breathwork. She currently works with up to 300 people each week locally and also teaches nationally and internationally. Sati is schooled in Rebirthing Breathwork and completed the 9 Month certification training 4 times as taught through the Kriya Yoga lineage of Shri Haidakhan Babaji Kriya Yoga and taught by Sondra Ray, Tony Lomastro, and Maureen Malone. She received her spirit name ‘Sati’ meaning ‘selfless devotion’ from her beloved Sad Guru Ammachi (www.amma.org) while living in in Amma's ashram in India.She became initiated and certified into the Hatha Yoga tradition of teaching by David Newman and Inner Fire Yoga in 2001 and began teaching Hatha Yoga right away. Following Sati's schooling and teaching in Hatha Yoga, she then went on to become initiated into the Kundalini Yoga tradition (as taught by Yogi Bhajan) and taught by Sada Sat Singh and Kaur in 2003. She is a 3HO certified Kundalini Instructor. She is a member of The International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA 225). Sati is also a Yoga Alliance certified and insured instructor (RYT 500). Sati has lived and worked at The Himalayan Institute one of the most respected Yoga associations here in the United States and abroad.

Despite the images splashed all over media of largely young, thin, flexible people practicing yoga, there is no such thing as a perfect yoga body.Asana, or physical yoga postures, are appropriate for people in all bodies, regardless of size and shape.In this workshop, we will explore vinyasa yoga in the context of bodies of size.We will explore making space for ample bodies within your practice.This exploration with include tips for working with your unique body shape in traditional poses, as well as exploring props to make poses more accessible. We will end our exploration by melting into the embrace of restorative postures.
