Fertility in mind and body, intuition and sensuality and harmonious with the moon, earth and seasons-- this is a glorious expression of the Feminine Divine.Women, we have so much to celebrate-- our children, our relationships, our businesses, our hobbies and activities... the Feminine Divine thrives in us all! Our fertility is one of the most sacred gifts we are given. Truly the wellspring of existence, it is a powerful blessing and a humbling responsibility. The process by which new life is brought into the world requires a system of incredible complexity and elegance: our own, beautiful, powerful bodies, our amazing reproductive systems. By nurturing our Selves, the Divine within, we celebrate and give thanks for our gifts.
But what about the health and emotional issues that crop up over the course of our lives? From puberty through menopause, the changes in hormones make our time in the female body-temple dynamic. Our natural cycles of menses, ovulation, and menopause can lead to irritability, moodiness, bloating, fatigue and other discomforts.Yeast infections, uterine fibroids, breast and ovarian cysts, and other dis-eases can put a damper on our beautiful experiences by throwing us out of balance. How do we take care of our Selves and correct the imbalances?
We are blessed to have medicine and science to help us mask, cut-out, and even cure disease, but we have also learned that medicine and science are flawed and often extreme in their approaches (once your uterus is gone-- there is no going back!)For many of us, we have learned that prevention is the best medicine.Proper diet, exercise, healthy relationships, a happy home, activities that stimulate your mind and body all contribute to a healthy, vibrant life.
If we strengthen our bodily systems-- in particular our reproductive system, nourishing and balancing, supporting and loving them, then we can support and embrace the process, and our own gorgeous selves, more fully. Even for those for whom childbearing is not in the cards, healing our relationship with our womb, our yoni, and our body, and educating ourselves about our own anatomy and physiology, and how to nourish and strengthen ourselves, is truly empowering.
You’ll also gain hands-on experience in a variety of herbal medicine-making techniques, and meet some powerful herbal allies: six plants of power for women’s health, with which you will work over the course of our sessions together and become familiar.
Join us on this journey, and learn to embrace and nourish the fertile, abundant, powerful body with which you have been graced.
