We will address basic anatomy and physiology as applicable, cancer treatments and its side effects, positioning, site concerns, contraindications, hospital culture, medication classifications. Discussing of Referrals and doctor orders, documentation and medical abbreviations. Various massage techniques will be demonstrated and practiced, as well as hands-on work using gloves. Luci has worked in this field for over 10 years. Her experience allowed her to develop this course to include the necessary information for you to feel confident providing beneficial and enjoyable massage to this population.
