We will start by learning about Yoga Nidra and its benefits. You will have a take home guide to assist you in recreating this in your home practice.Next we will tune inward with some breath work and do a few yoga stretches before settling down for the Yoga Nidra practice. People love Yoga Nidra for the blissful state between waking and sleeping. The specific steps that are part of Yoga Nidra offers the participant a conscious way to reduce stress and achieve sleep. Yoga Nidra is designed to induce total physical, mental and emotional relaxation. – Jessica
About the teacher
Jessica is a 200 Hour, RYT with Yoga Alliance. She completed her training with Heidi Sherwin of MoonBow Yoga and Wellness last year and cannot wait to share what she has learned with her students. She has experience teaching many styles of yoga, but has a special place in her heart for Pre-Natal Yoga. It was during her own pre-natal classes when pregnant that the idea first came to her to pursue yoga teacher training. After completing her yoga teacher training Jessica founded Stardust Yoga, LLC.
