Gentle Yoga With Mary Angel
with Mary Angel Blount New!
1 hour minutes
Reminder: Mary Angel recommends mat, block and strap for this class.
A wonderful way to experience yoga for those who desire a more gentle approach to yoga postures. Classes will be slow moving and focus on stretching, flexibility, balance, good posture. This class promises a relaxing experience with a focus on postures that are easy on the joints. At the minimum bring a yoga mat and if possible block and strap. We do sell these items in the bliss shop. No yoga experience is necessary.
Mary Angel Blount, MFA, RYT, comes to yoga from a roundabout route. Before she started training to be a yoga instructor, she taught college English for 23 years. “When I discovered yoga in the 1990s, I was teaching creative writing and composition. I was amazed at yoga’s effect on creativity,” she says. “Yoga lowered my self-criticism, so I could feel freer to create.” She continues: “Yoga is also phenomenal for stress. It speeds up the energy in my body and slows down the energy in my mind. It is the perfect reset! More than that, it’s bliss! My calling is to help others discover how profoundly and how positively yoga can affect us all.”
In addition to teaching a variety of hatha/vinyasa yoga classes at Bliss Bliss Bliss such as Gentle Yoga and Bliss Flow, Mary Angel also teaches Chakra Yoga, a 75-minute class that includes chakra assessment & balancing, journaling, chanting, meditation, and asana. “The two forces running through our bodies—the liberation current and the manifestation current—are always fluctuating and thus, in constant need of balancing. Chakra Yoga helps us to balance our energy and dissolve our blocks to love and creative bliss.”

“Yoga is not about touching your toes. It is what you learn on the way down.” ~ Jigar Gor
This is one of Jessica’s favorite yoga quotes. She believes it perfectly sums up what yoga is about. To her, yoga has never been just a physical practice. It has always been, more.
She loves exploring all that yoga has to offer with her students; showing them how it meets them where they are in the moment, and how it grows and transitions along with their practice.
Her passion for yoga was kindled over ten years ago and after completing her yoga teacher training with Moonbow Yoga & Wellness, she returned to Bliss to teach.
Since then, Jessica has completed Reiki practitioner training and is now a Certified Reiki Master Teacher. She’s begun her own business; Stardust Synergy, and she continues her study of yoga, as well as other alternative healing practices.
Recently, Jessica completed her training in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), a body-centric therapy for treating physical pain and emotional stress through acupoint pressure of the meridian points.
You can come visit her at Bliss for group yoga classes, private yoga sessions, Reiki, Oracle Readings and you can experience EFT through her Harmony Unleashed Energywork Intuitive Service.

Flow/Storative Yoga With Heidi
with Kelly Nix*
1 hour minutes
Flow/Storative Yoga offers a wonderful blend of rejuvenating movement and restful practices. The first half of class will flow at a gentle pace to coordinate breath and movement while awakening your strength and flexibility with sun salutations and standing postures. The second part of class will combine floor postures, meditation practices, and guided relaxation to enhance qualities of comfort and calm. Flow/Storative is your invitation to feel more relaxed and restored within the flow of your day. Come as you are – all humans are welcome.
Kelly Nix, PhD Certified Yoga Teacher | Certified Gallup CliftonStrengths Coach & Trainer
My yoga journey began in 2002 while training for triathlons. Looking for balance, I discovered yoga and was immediately drawn to its transformative power. In 2007, I completed my Level One Teacher Training with Baron Baptiste, and soon after began teaching. A few years later, I deepened my practice by completing Levels Two and Three with Amazing Yoga. While Hot Vinyasa Yoga shaped much of my foundation, I’ve recently been drawn to a slower, more mindful flow and yin-inspired practices. In 2025, I completed my YIN Yoga Certification with Amazing Yoga.
Over the years, I’ve learned that true power begins in the mind—and that living authentically requires intention and practice. My academic path reflects this passion: I hold a Master’s in Wellness Management and a Ph.D. in Human and Community Development with a focus on
Leadership. Through my professional roles, yoga training, and lived experiences, I’ve become more interested in helping others grow as leaders. To me, teaching yoga is ultimately about guiding people toward purpose, presence, and authenticity. Outside of teaching, I find joy and serenity outdoors whether biking, hiking, golfing, or cross-country skiing. Nature continues to be my grounding space, offering freedom, connection, and renewal.

June Breathwork Circle: Psychic Self-Protection special event
with Melita Mollohan
1 hour 30 minutes minutes
June 18, 2026 5:30-7pm
BREATHWORK CIRCLE FOR PSYCHIC SELF-PROTECTION
Do you avoid large crowds? Do you shrink when you are around loud people? Do you ever come home feeling drained after a day out & about in the world?
Let’s face it, the world at large can be quite draining, especially if you are empathic and take on other people’s energies.
There’s good news, it doesn’t have to be this way! There are simple and easy techniques you can do to help boost and protect your own energy so that you are no longer being drained!
Melita will spend some time teaching you about your energy field and how to keep it clean, safe and protected.
We will be working with a flower essence blend hand crafted by Melita called “Auric Field” This blend is specifically crafted to help strengthen our energetic field. A bottle of the flower essence blend used during this circle will be available for purchase separately from Melita if desired.
Breathwork is an active meditation technique that helps breakthrough any blocks you have around anything that stands in your way of healing. We will start seated in a sacred circle to learn about our energy fields. Melita will offer essential oils to get your energy centers (chakras) flowing and smudge the room as well as each participant to transform the energy of your emotions to allow deep releasing.
During the Breathwork portion we will be lying comfortably on the floor in nests of comfy blankets. At this time we will release any leftover distortions that still remain in our field before we purify and seal it to protect ourselves going forward. Melita will hold space for your healing as she guides you through every step of the way.
If you are ready to take your healing to the next vibrational level join Melita in this very powerful Breathwork Circle. Wear comfortable clothing and come as you are. You do not need to bring anything at all, everything you need is provided for you. There is no physical yoga practice. Beginners are always welcome to join the circle! If you have any questions, please email Melita: melita@zenfromwithin.com
**Breathwork Circles tend to fill quickly. Early registration is highly suggested. Your card will be charged when you register. Sorry, no refunds.**
Yoga Therapist, E-RYT500, Akashic Record Reader
Specialties: Akashic Record Reading, Breathwork, Meditation, Yoga Therapy, Hot Vinyasa, Yin Yoga
You are the electricity and Melita is the light switch! Melita creates a sacred space for healing that combines deep understanding and knowledge, ownership of your own body, and humor. Melita believes that your growth and potential are only diminished by your own limiting beliefs. We are all powerful beyond measure.
Melita started teaching Yoga in 2009 and started her Massage Therapy practice in 2010. She’s since then learned the subtle yet powerful healing of Bowen Therapy to help the body heal more quickly and more permanently. Even more importantly, she’s learned how much the energetic and emotional body affects the physical and that if you want to make any changes in your life you need to address the energetics first and foremost. She has since then added Akashic Record Readings to her practice and these have become one of her favorite ways to work with clients. She’s constantly amazed at how physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual issues can be resolved with time in the records.
Another favorite way of working with groups is through the powerful healing of the breath. Your breath can move stuck emotional & physical energy. Breathwork helps with depression and anxiety, deepens your intuition, and increases creativity. Breathwork is an undercover manifestation tool that can clear the channel to align with your dreams. And most of all, it opens your heart to greater self-love. Melita offers Breathwork Circles every other month and they are an extremely powerful way to help heal your body, mind, and spirit.
Melita still enjoys a strong physical and challenging yoga asana practice and continues to teach two classes in this format, Thursday at 5:30pm and Saturday 9am. In fact, she was the very first person in Morgantown to offer Hot Yoga. Yet her favorite way to work with private clients and small groups is with Yoga Therapy. Yoga Therapy simply put is self-care! Melita has found that no matter what clients are dealing with that Yoga can assist on their path. Yoga meets you exactly where you are. Yoga Therapy is for anyone dealing with any physical issue, ailment, disease, stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, respiratory and cardiovascular disorders, neurological disorders, digestive, hormonal, or immune system issues. Basically, if you are suffering any issue, Yoga Therapy is a great place for you to add into your self-care routine to bring your body and mind back to wholeness.
